Breaking Radio Silence
Its been a while since we updated (for reasons you'll see later), so here are the highlights.
Christmas was fun this year, with Evie really into counting down the days and opening gifts, and Arun really into . . . everything.
And they both finally fit the christmas jammies Auntie Katy sent last year. Thanks, K!
Though things not fitting never stopped either of these kids.

Right after Christmas we packed up the decorations . . . AND EVERYTHING ELSE! That's right, we moved. Due to a small snafu with the closing dates, we spent about a week in a mostly empty house. The kids didn't seem to mind.

When we finally got to our new place, the kids helped Daddy out with the installation of our new mailbox.

There's a lot more to fix around here (slanting floors, some broken windows, some really terrible wallpaper), but we're looking forward to it. There's even a giant shop on the property for Jimmy, so he no longer has to build cabinets in our carport.
But the house is completely livable, and the peanut butter and nutella sandwiches taste exactly the same here as they did at our old place.
Still, all our chores were put on hold by the arrival of 18 inches of snow here in Burlington. Arun has typically sort of hated the snow, but he seems to be getting the hang of keeping his mittens on. Here Daddy drags them through the snow in the sled (Arun was shouting "MUSH!")

And both kids got their first chance to go sledding.

And Evie got even bolder with a few more runs.

The snow should stick around for a few more days, but will probably be gone by next Friday when Evie June makes the big jump to being 5!
Until then,
Jen
