Just like dad . . .

As a parent, there's no greater feeling in the world than when your baby, wrapped so soundly in your arms, looks up at you and smiles. In baby economics, one smile cancels out like an entire day of fuss debt. And when your baby starts to mimic your actions and even your LOOKS, well, consider it a major deposit in the ol' goofy parent account.

I say this because the Saliva Gland Fairy recently visited Evie June and gave her an AMAZING gift. She can now conjure up spit bubbles which she so delicately places on her chin to form a stylish soul patch . . .

just like her old man! I know, sometimes it's even hard for even me to tell us apart.

We used to be amazed at the amount of accidental pee that would bubble up from her pee fountain during mid-diaper-change (that split second in time when we're pulling out the wet diaper and sliding in the dry one) and moisten her outfit. It's nothing compared the gush of drool that she proudly displays on her lips, chin, neck, collar, chest, hands, and unsuspecting parent shoulder. We're pretty sure she'll be able to create a full-sized bubble beard in time for Christmas. And that would truly be a gift to all.
