Super Baby!
The day began like any other regular day for our average baby citizen, Evie June. The birds chirped, the sun shone, a bottle magically appeared in her mouth when she was hungry, and that same magic took away her wet and dirty diapers.
Life was simple . . . almost too simple. She decided to give her new pediatrician a visit and test out their high-tech scales and tape measure.

After enjoying her pleasant bit of measuring, she basked in the notion of bulking up to 9 lbs. 4 oz. and 20 3/4 inches in just 6 weeks of working out.
Although while she was preparing to redress and go home, something most unexpected happened. A member of the League of Disease Fighters burst into the room with syringes full of potent superhero transformers!

Before Evie June could learn how to crawl and scoot away from this perceived danger, she was gently restrained under the mesmerizing heat lamp.

With no where left to turn, she braced herself for the shock of these powerful, body-altering injections.
ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE!
Like the radioactive spider biting Peter Parker, Evie June felt the sting of the needles in her legs and arm and gave a Hulk-sized yawp which shook the room.

The secrets chemicals entering into her body began a drastic metamorphosis changing her from average, baby-on-the-street Evelyn June to SUPER BABY - Fighter of Evil Villains! She now has the incredible power to fight Horrible Hepatitis B, Dastardly Diphtheria, Terrible Tetanus, Pernicious Pertussis, Poisonous Polio, Pathetic Pneumococcal Conjugate, Malicious Measles, Malevolent Mumps, Ruinous Rubella, and Villainous Varicella. These menaces to society don't have a chance when she's around. Did I mention she can fly now too?

Having been chosen by the League of Disease Fighters to receive this special superhero treatment so that she could combat such enemies, Evie June vowed to humbly use her powers for good and not evil. Though she did flex for the camera to show off her new superhero muscles and crime-fighting Snoopy tatoo for the fans.

Wow, just six weeks and she's already a super hero. They grow up so fast . . .

Jimmy,
Only you could take a painful experience and turn it into a hero story. And yes, Evie June is definately my hero. I just cried reading the blog knowing how the injections felt to her and how miserable she felt last night.
I sure do miss my little angel girl. She is in my heart always but my arms sure do ache to hold her.
Give her big hugs and kisses from her MeeMee and tell her everyday how much I love her.
