Holidays and Snow Days

Evie June is in the midst of her first holiday season, and apparently loving every moment. First, we kicked off the festivities with a lavish Thanksgiving dinner with the Wright/Jacobson clans last week. We enjoyed turkey with all the trimmings, while Evie June enjoyed hers from a jar.

It didn't seem to dampen her enthusiasm.

After dinner, 17-month-old Gus got into the spirit of giving, despite the absence of any miseltoe.

Evie recovered enough the next morning to enjoy her first contact with SNOW!

And then things got out of hand . . .

We took advantage of the unexpectedly long weekend to put up some Christmas decorations. Evie is fascinated by the Christmas tree . . .

And loves the new giant socks MeeMee made for her.

Seven inches and a few snow-days later, the snow is melting. Still, we're pretty sure Evie June is dreaming of a white Christmas, provided it doesn't keep us from making it home. We'll be in West Virginia December 22nd though the morning of the 26th, and in Owensboro from the 26th until New Year's Eve. Come see the traveling Bradbury roadshow at either location if you can!

Again, the amazing new changes that this little angel has had on you two...wanted to share with everyone that this is YOUR first Christmas tree since you moved here -- (they normally have a Christmas Wreath)!

I don't know if everybody else thinks you all are hilarious--but I cannot stop laughing at you all. You crack me up.

Angie, I was thinking the same thing!

Cute pictures! Thx for sharing... I was amazed at the turkey dinner picture and the associated mess; Christy told me that I better get used to it because that is how kids are. I think I am in trouble if the day ever arrives. ;)
