What is she thinking?
We're planning a big update soon with lots of news about crawling, talking, teething and other baby fun, but here's a quick post to tide you over.
Below you can see Evie in her preferred habitat--the exersaucer MeeMee June gave her on a recent visit. Jimmy calls it "the carnival" and is adamant that its the the closest she'll ever get to Disneyland. I'm grateful that it provides her a safe place to sit while I do dishes.

But we're both a little puzzled by a ritual she's developed. The toys on the tray include six small plastic balls with various places to tuck and roll them. Evie loves dropping them over the edge, listening as they bounce on the hardwood floor and watching them roll beneath the couch. But before that bit of fun, she invariably ends up in this pose.

We can't figure out what she's doing, but we've had fun coming up with thought bubbles for her.
"Alas, poor Yorick. I knew him . . ."
"Cut, color, clarity . . . everything you look for in a plastic smiley ball."
Anybody else have an interpretation?
Jen

She's already a solid Christian.
"I thank thee, God, for this ball I am about throw onto the floor. May you speak to my parents and have them bring it back. With much thanks, Amen."
