Big News
Wanna know why Evie June is holding this huge stack of very important paper?
Here's why:
Meet Saroj Bradbury, Evie June's new baby brother! We're delighted to announce that our family will be growing (has grown?) with this precious new addition. Saroj was born October 30, 2008, and if all goes well, three of us will travel together to bring him home from Calcutta in November or December. That stack Evie's holding in the first photo was our acceptance paperwork, where Jimmy and I had to sign our names a few hundred times. And then we had to get 62 different documents notarized (thanks, Alan!). After it was all done, we heading to the post office, where EJ handed our local postmaster the stack and told him it was for her "bruver."
I think she was a little disappointed when Dale didn't reach behind the counter and produce Saroj for us to take home in exchange.
So now, most every time we get in the car to go somewhere, EJ shouts something like, "Let's go to India now to get my baby!"
We share her enthusiasm, but know the timing is all in God's hands.
Jen
PS: Stay tuned for scenes from this weekend's bike camping adventure on Lopez Island.

Congratulations! That's great news! Such beautiful, big brown eyes. I don't know how Evie is going to have enough patience to wait that long. :)Isaac can't even wait to wash his new pajamas before putting them on, let alone waiting 5 or 6 months for a baby brother! Good luck!!

Still praying that God will make that loophole so you all can get him sooner. God IS the miracle maker and will do what is best. My, my, my ........I DO have beautiful grandbabies, don't I !!!! Evie June will be the best big sister, teaching him everything she knows and then some..... and Saroj will learn fast. Watch out world.
