Mobility!

Evie June's been enjoying some new moves--in her front porch swing and on her own two feet! That's right, Evie can walk. She still prefers the jogger when we go out for a run, but her endurance is increasing daily. Two days ago, she took her first controlled step, today, she improved her record to seven consecutive toddles. Sadly, we weren't able to get footage of the big one, but if you watch the video below a couple times in a row you'll get the idea.



We're hard at work on another milestone--kicking the bottle. Even Baby Kermit's heartfelt testimonial in the riveting board book "Bye Bye Bottle" hasn't persauded her yet that cups are cooler. We're down to two a day, but those stretches make for some cranky moments.

So I guess you could say we're all grateful for the swing.
